Coffee Creek seeks to be an Acts 1:8 church in its service to our hurting and often unjust world. We seek to be a beacon of hope to the hopeless and extend peace to those living without it. One ministry that highlights this concern is the HOPE Center in Edmond.
The HOPE Center of Edmond was organized in April, 1984 to meet a community need for a central agency to provide social services.
The purpose of HOPE Center is to meet the basic needs of members of the Edmond community by providing food, clothing, household items and financial assistance for rent and utilities. In 2008, HOPE Center provided assistance to more than 18,000 people. This included rent, food, prescriptions, transportation, utility payments, clothing and household items.
Coffee Creek supports the HOPE Center through a special annual offering emphasis, annual Christmas gift program, regular partnership gifts, and volunteers that work in the food pantry and clothing division throughout the year. Take a look at the Coffee Creek produced video below for an insider's glance at the mission at HOPE.
